Description

Love barbecue chicken but hate the hassle of grilling? Try this simple Air Fryer BBQ Chicken recipe! You’ll get tender, juicy, sauce-coated chicken in no time, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken drumsticks, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Let the chicken drumsticks marinate for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  6. After marinating, place the chicken drumsticks in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overlapping.
  7. Cook the chicken drumsticks in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 22-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Once cooked, place the chicken in a large mixing bowl and coat with BBQ sauce.
  9. Place the chicken back into the air fryer on 400F for 2-3 minutes.
  10. After 2-3 minutes, they are ready to be served.
